I agree that delivery of service should be the measure of judging a govts performance..
Democracy takes like a billion years to stabilize and function, it is not a time-effective system of governance and takes its toll on people..
Whereas the Caliphate, or a purely Islamic system starts to deliver immediately..Iran & Taliban are not the ideal govts, but yet what they achieved in their limited time is much greater than a democratic setup would ever have..
