'68 Seeley Norton Commando in AHRMA BEARS Race, Daytona International Speedway, March 2, 2009
Unfortunately my camera was not working for this race, so fast guy Doug MacRae let me post this footage taken from his H-2-THE-B 1972 Norton. I was gridded in pole (to the left of Doug) in the BEARS class, which was lined up behind 350GP (why?). We both got a great start, but Doug went around the outside of the 350 bikes and got through traffic quicker. Good cameo by Dave Roper on his 350 Harley Sprint. At the end of the first lap at 2:26 I can be seen draft-passing Doug then braking too early into T1 and Doug easily passes me back. He then led for the next 2 laps (edited out) but I stayed tight behind, plotting my revenge. On the 4th lap I passed him going into the dogleg and managed to pull a bit of a gap for a lap until the LAST turn on the LAST lap (5:50) just before the west banking when I overcooked it and went in too deep. Doug won by 3 seconds.
I took my 2nd place and was happy.
I was able to go out and get the win on day 2.

The camera on my bike was a Gopro Helmet Hero Wide. Sound on low, rubber gasket at the back removed for more sound.

Excellent video. The sound gives me the chills, in a good way. Add what type of camera was used.
Thanks,
Corey
