If there is one thing that you learn in the Marines, it is that you don't quit or give up. When the going gets tough, you toughen the fuck up. That is what being a Marine is all about. You don't let one thing in life knock you down. If I was deployed (Which I am not, yet), and my gf cheated on me, I wouldn't lower myself. I'd hold myself as high as I would any other time, Look at it as an obstacle. You've overcome many, don't let just one take you out.

coming from a marine that has just recently gotten out. I sometimes wonder if my wife and you girls aren't stronger in a lot of ways than us marines. We do what we have to for our country our family and our marine brothers. You women just have to go along for the ride a lot of times and deal with it the best you can. I know you are proud of being married to or even dating marines but don't sell yourselves short. It takes a lot of courage to go through what you do.

@Godfather921 : Do not assume that every girl behind a Marine cheats. I am dating a Lance Corporal, and I am faithful. Never would I cheat on him. He deploys for his third tour in six months, and I will be right there waiting for him not if he comes home but WHEN he comes home. So I disagree. They should date if they so chose to.
