@Botie2 While I am a new Jag driver I totally agree with the only critism being the "smoothed over" feeling that was not there in the 911. The best way to describe it is a feeling that the onboard computer is maybe compensating to the extent that you are not going to get any warning before you lose control where as the responsiveness of the 911 was raw and instant. Having said that, the excitement of this car is the G forces when accelerating coupled with the wildcat roar of the supercharged V8

I just picked up a kr. Very sexy motorcar and that indistgishuible cat purr of the engine has been given steroids in the KR. Its certainly a sidewalk headturner and 3 hours after taking delivery I was pulled over for a random breath test (1st time in 3 years). Having been a 14 year 911 driver it was hard to let go of the love affair that develops with a Porsche over 14 years and it was only the KR that was able to seduce me sufficient to switch. Agree with all that is in this review.

when you need parts under constructor warranty ,they tells you they are not is stock and have you wait 45 days until you break the car a little more..they lied and if you react they put some fear against you,it is a pure robbery,jaguar france are thiefs,7 months and still the car is not fixed,have me wiat 3 months for parts.A warranty under their "echeances" what a shame,pass the word please!

i have this car in black and it goes from 0-60mph in 4.6 secs and my dad got it to 125 mph in sport, it got there in 15 secs!!!

Sorry for my opinion but i (along with a lot of people) agree that the front part of the new jag ('06 onwards) when viewed at an angle looks like Dory on the Finding Nemo movie. It does look like a fish. & the headlights look like sad eyes. The design that the late Geoff Lawson did on this Jag Xk8/XKR ('96 - '05) has the perfect lines & is symmetrically balanced that makes it one of the best looking car ever designed! Ian Callum mentioned he had some troubles designing the new one. So sad!
