  • Beautiful interpretation of this Goodman/Jenkins classic. Voice evocative (to me) of Peggy Lee.....an all round five star performance.

Thank you so much. Peggy Lee?......now I'm in heaven :-)

  • Thank you so much for your lovely comments. I am so glad you like our version of this Goodman classic.

We recorded 5 songs in a live/unedited recording session in 2005, this was the last song we did - appropriately enough.

Perhaps you would like to see my other videos. Your comments would be most welcome.

    Thanks again

  • Beautiful job and great pictures. Inspirational in the early AM for me today. I can picture Donna Reed and recall the emotion. Thanks for the ride.

A very beautiful interpretation of this beautiful song. I love the clarinet playing too. Thank you. Is it on a CD please, and, if so, where can I obtain a copy?

  • Beautiful. Perfect voice brilliant playing.

  • You've done an outstanding version of this hauntingly beautiful tune, Benny Goodman's closing theme.

Evidently songwriter Gordon Jenkins recorded a demo version on a 1950 Decca album that featured his vocalist, Bonnie Lou Williams.

And Rosemary Clooney recorded some fantastic sides with Mr. Goodman's ensemble, including the chart hit, "Memories of You".

  • That clarinet player in Majikal.

    Not magical.. but truly Majik

    5/5
