This guy is a joke, trying to move up in the ranks. Next stop, congress. He just has to screw over some people and pass some dumb fucking gun laws before he can move up again.
@edbuckdog Principled, well Mussolini had principles, but in America our principle are ruled by the Constitution. He should list his principles, so that we can hold him accountable to him them. He took an Oath to uphold the constitution and now he is try to ban bearing arms.
In the 60 when the panthers went to the capital bearing arms, they passed the law to have the firearms unloaded because it was Unconstitutional to ban it then. It's still Unconstitutional today.
@edbuckdog I called his office and the people the phones don't care to talk to you. He certainly did not pick the phone. He should schedule a meet and greet so that citizens can give him an opinion on his policies face to face.
He is the most principled person in public life. Dem or Rep or Ind, he has always made a lucid argument for any position he has taken. One Sunday morning, I called his phone number expecting to leave a message, and he personally answered and spoke to me for 10 minutes. He's got my vote, and more, I will support him with volunteer time and money.
"Anthony Portantino talks jobs" indeed! Lets talks about all of the job opportunities he'll be creating for criminals. His unconstitutional proposal to criminalize the individual right to openly bear arms will leave us all defenseless in California. This tyrant will never be elected to Congress, or any other public office ever again. The People are onto this man and aware of his lies. Thumbs down!
