EDIT: added subtitle annotations for Asuka and Judai's translated conversation near the end. If you don't want it, then...turn off annotations...
- "Contingent" : Determined or to be determined by someone or something else
Also 161 is one of my favorite episodes, because Asuka is so longing for him and he's practically flipping her off. I mainly did this due to it's IC-angst factor.
Program used: Sony Vegas 7.0
Footage: Yu-Gi-Oh GX episodes (finale spoilers)
Pairing: [extremely one-sided] Fianceshipping / Babyshipping (Yuki Judai/Tenjoin Asuka a.k.a. Jaden Yuki/Alexis Rhodes) hints of Puzzleshipping (if you wanna)
Plot: same old-same old; Judai's changed and Asuka tries putting up with it. Results are different than with Jun.
Subplot: Asuka tries to make Judai happy somehow but he's still made of ice.
Viewpoint: Asuka's
Warnings: Kinda majorly angst-filled
References Nobody Wins, which is kinda-maybe the opening here.
Story:
Asuka comments on how Judai's changed and runs through her memories. [She tried putting up with his change by sacrificing her monster just for him, but he still was indifferent toward her. All her love for him, the love that had her memorize every detail about him, kept pushing her to make Judai happy again. She went so far as to compare herself to Yugi and the Pharaoh. Asuka became fed up with his attitude, angrily asking him why no matter what she did, it's never good enough for him. This surprised him, especially when she slapped him. He denied this. She realized that nothing she is or can do will be enough for him] She tries telling him that she's in love with him but she hesitates so he tells her his surprise: he's leaving and doesn't think he'll see her again. She deducts that even if Judai did love her, she would've still come second to his love of adventure, challenges and idolization of Mutou Yugi and the Pharaoh. While she gives her speech, Judai is off somewhere, finding what he needs; the something that Asuka knows she could never be. She sadly accepts this and remembers what Judai told her; it hits her that he may have not changed as much as she thought he did.
Faded blue: Asuka's memories
Red: Judai's happenings at the same time as Asuka's speech
Grayscale glowing white: Yugi and the Pharaoh as Asuka compares herself to
Hope you like! It looks a bit funky so sorry. This is another thing I blame my subconscious for.

Thanks (:
Well, I didn't think it was that wrong... maybe. I think Yami showed up because older-Yugi sent Judai back to after the Battle City tournament and before the Doma arc. Probably. . .

Yay! Angst-mush! I don't even like FianceShipping very much, but I do feel bad for Asuka; she wants Judai so badly and he's just being a prick lately. >.>
I think that you did an excellent job portraying that, and you should really stop apologizing on your videos for "tainting the varios shippings with crap", as believe it or not, you're quite good. :)

Hehe, I'm not that Fianceshipping either; I'm just for Asuka's seemingly easy-to-relate-to angst. (: Yep, like I said, I thought Judai was just flipping Asuka off throughout 161 when she just wanted him.
Thank you. I think I taint them because my videos aren't overflowing with effects and usually that's what I think everyone goes after. Or something... 0.o but ohkay, I'll stop :D. Thanks again (:
