I don't have a Cuttlebug any more but the multipurpose platform closed as I used it in this video is 5/8" thick. I'm sorry I didn't answer the other questions earlier-I would recommend the silicone rubber, I don't think you need the impressions plate if you use this method.

Hi! Is the impressions plate a lot thinner or thicker than a B or C plate? I imagine you've tried all possible combinations. Just want to make it clear in my mind before I start buying SU's products for use in my Cuttlebug.

Thanks so much for the demo! I ordered some Texturz without ordering the impressions plate, not having seen this video yet. I was determined to make it work, lol. I made my wedge 4 layers thick, used a Spellbinders embossing mat and my Cuttlebug B plate. Worked like a charm. LOL

Thanks for the video. I tried my own combinations to get it to emboss deep enough and couldn't figure it out. Thanks.
Great video. Just wondering if you need to purchase the silicone rubber and impressions plate from stampin up to use stampin up's embossing texture plates? Have you heard of anyone using the spellbinder embossing mats instead?

Hi, you can use the embossing mats, but you would still need the impressions plate.

Hi sorry I should have been clearer. The Wedge is just a piece of cardstock the size of the texturz plate.
Good luck
