(1) Can you tell me the page number of Tazkiratul-Huffaz where Imam Zahbi said that. Bcs I think it is not in Tazkiratul-Huffaz, rather it is in his other book named "Manaqib Abu Hanifa" in which a narrator is "Saif bin Jaber" that is not proved as authentic narrator by any MUHADDIS
(2) Ibn Hajar Asqalani says that it is said by people, not he says for himself.

@ideal1Pak lmaam dhahabi (RA) writes in Tazkiratul-Huffaz that Imaam Abu Hanifah (RA) as born in 80 AH. He saw Anas Ibn Malik (RA) more than once (meaning) every time Anas Ibn Malik (RA) would visit Kufa.
Ibn Hajar Asqalani says in Tahdhib al-tahdhib, Al-Nu`man ibn Thabit al-Taymi, Abu Hanifa, al-Kufi. It is said that he was Persian. He saw Anas.

A narration, about ABU HANIFA's seeing of HAZRAT ANS in the book of HAKIM KABEER, has fault in its chain. There is a narrator in it named "ABU BAKR BIN ABU UMRA" is not proved as authentic by any MUHADDIS.
And all the narrations of KHAWARZMI are also not acceptable due to a narrator named “AHMAD ALHAMDANI” who is rejected by MUHADDISEEN.

See books of JARAH n TADEEL. MUHADDISEEN are agree that none of narrators of fifth category has contact with any SAHABI (companion of Prophet PBUH) n ABU HANIFA is put in sixth category. ABU HANIFA is not at all a TAB’IE (person who saw any companion of Prophet PBUH).
KHATEEB BAGHDADI narrated: DARQUTNI was asked if ANU HANIFA heard something from HAZRAT ANS, he replied, no,n ABU HANIFA did not even saw HAZRAT ANS. even he had no contact with any SAHABI.(TAREEKH E BAGHDAD: v-4, p-208)

Not even a single HADEES from ABU HANIFA is narrated in the whole SEHA E SITTAH (six basic books of AHADEES, are (1)BUKHARI (2)MUSLIM (3)TIRMIZI (4)ABU DAOOD (5)NASAI (6)IBN E MAJA) Now tell what is ABU HANIFA when even authors of these basic books have rejected him. Pity on HANAFI FIQH, pity on HANAFIES.
The first book on HANAFI FIQH was written in 428 HIJRI, after 278 years of death of ABU HANIFA without any SANAD (chain of narrators). the author of book HADAYA was MOTAZLI not Muslim.
