1:40 why the hell does she go down with her knees so much? srsly, GW 2 graphics are amazing for an mmo, but the walking animation looks realy oudated. worst thing is: the looked that way even in gw 1 over 6 years ago :(

it looks funny I agree. thats the stop animation when you have been running. She goes down as a way to absorb the momentum in order to stop quickly. They just need to tweak it so that if you run 2 steps it doesnt play.

1:12 is not new. not even to mmos. in my opinion it should be standard for all games by now, but sadly it is not

Good video, but there was something that I think should be mentioned as well. Some npc's will talk about npc's all over the GW2 word. For example: At the zone Fields of Ruin (At Ascalon) there is an npc all the way at the bottom left of the map in the farm area of Stronghold of Ebonhawk. This npc is inside a pen full of moa's. If you speak to her she will mention an Asura at Queensdale that has moa's preform for money. At Queensdale there is an event that involves said Asura.

Wow, game developers doing game design. I would of never guessed they could do that without this 11 minute video! All jokes aside, this stuff can be found in plenty of video games. GW2 is fun and all, but you might be boasting it a bit too much. Plenty of games have these small details in them. The Metal Gear series is a prime example.
