You know I reckon Cloris Leachman deserved it for actually smiling and happy and not taking the Oscar thing so seriously like the other two nominees, the older nominees are always so tense lol.

I saw this film today, and by god did she deserve this award. A great performance in a film filled to the brim with great performances.

One of the best-deserved Oscars the Academy has ever awarded. The closing scene of The Last Picture Show is in a class of it's own. Absolutely heart-rending.

@00s00m What are you kidding me? Raquel Welch in 1972 was the hottest Sex Symbol in the world. Look at Welch's high cheek bones, and sexy body. Leachman is cute but please don't compare her to La Welch.
