Newly bought HP Pavilion tx1000z tablet. Starts to rattle a week ago, when lid is adjusted to a certain angle, in particular closed. The rattling sound is not mechanic, but comes out of speakers (even with them muted in Windows).

  • The mute button is on; you need to unmute it.

  • The noise has nothing to do with mute button.

  • for how long did u have the computer before this sound started? have u carried it around in some bag or something or installed weird software or something? ive use a hp pavilion dv9575 for 6 months, works fine.

  • It's sit on my desk for about a week before turning noisy. I didn't really even use it a lot. Yours is fine? Well at least not every HP laptop breaks down I guess...
