hawai'i has the least resources in the country..they can only afford to spend around $50k a year in recruiting (avg Div III school spends $150k per year! georgia spent $500k in '05 alone!).on top of that, UH DOES NOT recruit from the states cause they just can't afford it, it's too far..if they're lucky enough to get talent from the states, it's usually through transfers, HS players who contact THEM, or the coach's friends send tapes of some JC player..THIS is meant by "little resources"!

Hawaii has no control over the strength of the schedule. Regardless of what's said about Hawaii, they've proven themselves against all doubters. If Hawaii were to lose, then it would be the expected thing since Hawaii wasn't expected to win certain games. Since Hawaii's come out on top, the excuse falls upon the scheduling so they're in a no-win scenario. If LSU, Ohio State were to play UH at Aloha Stadium, I think the Hawaii would pull off the upset.

i think thats really annoying how people go on here just to talk shit. who cares who's fans are the loudest, who cared about bandwagon fans, it doesn't mean they're not fans. keep it about the game and the fun. its supposed to be about competition too but you don't have to act like as asshole.
