I grew up listening to the album THE PAUL SIMON SONG BOOK and I want to dedicate this to him ´cause his music´s been part of my life.
I took the lyrics as in that album...." MISSISSIPPI´S GONNA BE YOUR BURYIN´ PLACE.."
My voice and me we´re getting older as you should have noticed at the end of the song.I wish i could sing it as I did 20 years ago,but I can´t. Anyway I had to sing it. Thanks for listening and thanks to PAUL SIMON.

I love this song and you play it close to perfection ! I've been learning guitar for over a year and discovered your video a year ago.. Now that I feel more confortable with my playing I would like to learn this wonderfull song from Paul Simon. I have found a tab on the net but still need some help for the strumming pattern. Would you please give me some clue about it ? What is the strumming ?

Well, about strumming......I can´t tell you how to do it,because I learnt to play by ear, so I know nothing about tabs or so.And strumming is very intuitive,it has to come from your hands and how you feel the song....

Quick question. Are you using a pick or fingers?

Also, any tips for singing and playing at the same time? My timing seems to get completely thrown off when i try and sing.

Well I use a pick, and about singing and playing at the same time.......when I started playing guitar that was the most difficult thing to get for me: sing and play at the same time !!! it´s just a matter of time my friend. Be pacient......that´s all I can say !
