There are lot of Indians who are very light and you are right there are lot of brown Indians. Mughals were not purely Indian, they were Turkish, Persian and Central Asian people. You cannot expect them to be dark brown. Hrithik is pure Indian and very light. He is good looking and an excellent actor. I think that's why people like him. If Indians were so obsessed with white, why would SRK be such a big name??
