  • I am reading "The Storyteller's Daughter" by Saira Shah. She has fortitude and insight. She examines her own cultural motivations as well as she describes the behaviors of others in a complex society under decades of war. Highly recommended reading. "Beneath the Veil" won a Peabody Award in 2002. Remarkable documentary shown on CNN. Getting a handle on human rights through the UN's Universal Declaration of Human Rights could bring hope to us all. Freedom and security are for all human beings.

  • I love her, she is a true and brave Afghan woman.
