  • In the verses, Paul is playing with a triplet feel and Ringo's playing with a straight-8ths feel...and it totally works!

Thank God Pro-Tools wasn't around then. Otherwise, we would've never had this pure art.

  • @geoffreydlang Tape can be manipulated too. When recording Welcome To The Machine, David Gilmore couldn't reach a high note with his voice, so they had him sing it slower and then speed it up so it was the right ptich.

Look, Pro Tools isn't ruining music, it's the people using it who are.

  • love the sound of Ringo's snare

  • Awesome. I can play guitar (John's part) against this track.

  • Now THAT ladies and gentlemen is a rythym section!

  • the only way he probably (im guessing) but the original tapes of the Beatles had 2 sides, one with voice and one with the guitar, bass, and the drums, so i think you just took the instrument side

  • where did you get this? did you extract it from the audio from the movie?

  • in the verses of the song, i feel like singing "dreaming of you" by the coral...

  • I don't how anyone could fault this bass playing.

  • oh oh oh oh oh oh oh
