One more thing we should point out to believers in hell is how will heaven be heaven if people are burning in hell? How can anyone be happy in heaven if this is happening? I've had christians suggest that God will wipe this knowledge from our minds, &/or that those in hell are being punished with God's perfect Sovereign Justice & are thus 'getting what they deserve', and those are probably the 2 BEST arguments they've given in answer to my question.
How sad.

When I show all these scriptures to my Calvinist friend, he says that it's not enough to just quote verses without referencing context &/or comment & think that that somehow proves that I'm right & he's wrong.
He uses arguments like the bible is using hyperbole with words like ALL & WORLD & that in every instance it's really only referring to the elect.
How sad. What a narrow view of scripture.

Well, he is correct, one must consider context. But calvinists are convinced only the elect will be saved so they interpret "all" as only elect. That makes verses like 1 Tim 4:9-11 look quite ridiculous. Jesus is clearly the savior of the "world, especially those who believe." He is the savior of both, but Calvinists won't acknowledge that so they have to play games with words.
