And in my world, throwing on a prima donna dress and dragging out notes, does not make your version all that great. Yes this version is more simple, but what is so wrong with that. What's wrong with noticing the beauty in a song without it being over the top. Snow Patrol has the feeling and the connection to that song that makes your heart ache, Leona does not. She holds out notes, and she's amazing. I get it, she's got a great range. There's more to music than that, that's what makes this great

I loved this pairing on Dawson's Creek because I always had a feeling they'd end up together eventually. It's always the ones you fight the most that you end up needing the most. The song really fits with them too...though I think the video itself could have been edited a bit differently to better suit the lyrics.

As to the people arguing over which version is better..consider this: Snow Patrol WROTE the song. Leona Lewis has a pretty voice, but she can't possibly sing it with the same emotion.
