The queen has returned! After a 4-month long trip to Michigan and back, 4449 finally pulled into Union Station in her hometown of Portland, Oregon on October 20, 2009. This first shot was taken from the station platform looking west as the engine glides gracefully into town and brings the train to a stop in front of the depot. I filmed some other clips too, but I'll upload them later. In the meantime, enjoy!
I see myself in your video... that's kinda funny! :) Khaki pants, far left @ 1:53. That guy in blue set up right next to me and when I asked him to step back to my left, he acted like he didn't speak English! What an ass.
Also, the guy in the white T-shirt crossing the tracks at the beginning of your vid is my father. It's interesting to find ourselves in other peoples videos!

Ha ha ha!! You caught me driving across the crossing here. I'm in the silver Santa Fe at 0:38.
I caught her crossing 21st Avenue further north and decided to just watch her pass here rather than record it.
