  • @bwanna23 hey, start painting again, it's never to late to be creative and have fun!

  • Were they referring to Phil Ochs' song Changes perhaps?

  • it was such a shame when the Airplane became the Starship and except for the first album and started playing shit. The Airplane in the 60's and early 70's were untouchable! I have many fond memories of seeing and listening to them. Plastic Fantastic Lover on Bless its pointed little head is among their best. Wooden Ships is unbelievable. Now you have teeny bopper music and the shit they call hip hop. It's all over for America and the world.

  • great albubn

  • This band easily has the best duel lead singers in the music world, they are both amazing at singing and dont need crappy otto tuners to make their voices awesome

  • . . . "WE MUST BE IN HEAVEN, MAN!!!". . .

  • "After Bathing at Baxters" is part of the definitive soundtrack of San Francisco during the 1967-68 period. "Cheap Trills", "Anthem of the Sun", "Children of the Future", and "Happy Trails" go on that list

  • oh my.. wonderful

  • sarasailor, I've held to your position for over 40 years. No band, no band, had male-female vocalists to compare with Slick and Balin, a superb guitarist in Jorma, a visionary songwriter in Kantner, and the absolute, living end in bass players in Jack Casady. Plus, they were lucky to be in just the right place at the right time, so that their music and the culture fed each other, helping each soar beyond what would have otherwise been possible. Fly Jefferson Airplane! Gets you there on time.
