@jpexpc Look at the distance of the damn track for starters. I've seen enough videos and recorded enough of my own videos at the tracks to know the distance to the end. Secondly how are you so sure this isn't a canadian track and it's in KM/h not Miles.

You couldn't be more wrong. I enjoy when people try to act like they now what they're talking about when they obviously don't.
Please explain to me what makes this an 1/8 mile run. Even if that was the case, please explain to me what makes it less remarkable considering the speed he attained during the run.
Once you realize you can't explain your reasoning...nor the speed of the car, I hope you'll take the time to read the other comments for this video.

@jpexpc IF you had ever been to a race track in your life, just watching this you can tell thats an 1/8th mile. Not even close to mistake for a 1/4 mile.

thats a 1/8 mile track and thats not 174 mph ill post a video of a 7 second ride and show you what 7 seconds look like

It was a 1/4 mile run. Take a look at again at his speed.

Not a 1/4 mile pass. 1/8 mile pass. Nice car and a nice run anyways. May drag cars live forever!!
It is indeed a 1/4 mile track and run. I recorded this myself at Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, KY.
Again, read the comments...

That was not a 7 second pass. The car was not travelling at 174 mph either. Think about it! I don't know what happened with the timing system but if thats an A/gas car I'll eat it. 1/4 mile pass however, I was wrong about that. Count the cones. And of course Beach Bend is a 1/4 mile drag strip. Nice street/strip Nova though.
