@menthol5 Seriously, or when someone tells you they wouldnt work that hard or do something as well as you yet they are just as cappible. Only to find out later you have to go after them and fix their fuck up because managers and owners know you do the best job out of the rest so they work you the hardest...

It all sounds very impressive, but it failed catastrophically in the recent Qantas engine explosion. Quality control failed and so did containment - pieces of engine went straight through the wing.

RR locked down tighter than a duck's anus and said absolutely nothing - that, far more than the failure itself, destroyed my faith in RR's engines.
