@TheGILBERTnetwork Most educated comment on the site, it baffles me why people who clearly know nothing about boxing dare to comment at all. Especially when commenting about Duran.

@PsychedelicFerret - same goes for Mayweather
-
@asborisov1 - you maybe right but Manny would have come straight at Duran like Leonard did and the result would have been devastating for Pacquiao
-
@asborisov1 - dude you need to get your sensitive ass off this page if you think that. If you can't tell that this man was there to prove himself against the best then you don't know manhood. He took the Leonard fight for little money and to show he was better and he did. Props to Leonard for winning the rematch. in the end Duran was greater then Hagler, Hearns and Leonard even if he only beat 1. Greatness is more then wins and loses. No catch weights, no avoiding #1s, no test and no pussy fans

Wierd that he quit when he did though....
Vegas anyone???
First fight I can remember seeing when I was just a kid was Duran winning the lightweight title from Ken Buchanan, in somewhat controversial circumstances.
Kenny was a local hero at the time and it was disappointing to see him lose, but Duran went on to prove himself one of time greats.
Years later when asked who his toughest opponent had been, Duran replied Ken Buchanan. Given that he'd gone 15 rounds with Hagler, that's not too bad a compliment for old Ken.
