Heading around the south side of the island and cruising through groups of bird following small Yellowfin Tuna. Got a few strikes and were pulling in the fish when a silky shark took our māroro (flying fish) and ran! Took 45 mins to get our line back and get her to the boat. Got her unhooked safely and headed back in to go to work... It is a tough life living here.
