Here's a clip I put together around The Revolver's & my performance of THE JOHNNY BURNETTE TRIO classic-LONESOME TRAIN.
I couldn't find a lot of good Johnny Burnette Trio pics or I would have included more. Along with pics of the trio I also added pics of The Famous "A-Team" members (as pictured in the clip L-R) Bob Moore- Upright Bass, Grady Martin- Guitar & Buddy Harmon-Drums. These 3 are the ones responsible for the original raunch to be heard on the 1st cuts of The Johnny Burnette Trio including the original version of Lonesome Train. Later cuts would however feature the standard trio line-up of-
Johnny Burnette- Vocals & Acoustic Guitar
Paul Burlison-Electric Guitar
Dorsey Burnette-Upright bass.
I want to thank my friends at KGRG for having us up there so often and making cool live recordings like this happen!
Hope you dig the clip & be sure to check out The Official Johnny Burnette Trio website-
www.burnette-rock.com

On the live track in this clip The Revolvers were-
Jack Rainwater- Guitar
Dean Giles- Upright Bass
&
"yours truly"- Vocals & Acoustic Guitar

  • Thanks for spreading the word that it was Grady Martin that played the really important revolutionary guitar parts and NOT Paul Burlison.
