If they're really hopped up on meth or something, a taser won't do much to stop them.
This is the first voluntary tasering I've seen where the victim.. er, volunteer, didn't scream.

@AODAerokid He probably knew what was coming and wasn't resisting, also there's apparently charge settings on some types of tasers

You obviously don't know anything about electricity and how it affects the body.
Basically your nerves get deprived of their chemical messengers, rendering them inert for the time the current flows. Thus you can't control your muscles.

@timmyturner05 no i think thats with the other taser where you actually need to walk up to them and touch them.. im sorry i dont know the name of the other taser so thats kind of why i explained it lol

The taser deploys two probes that penetrate the skin. One a hot lead the other a negative lead. It completes the circuit so it doesn't shock anybody trying to handle him. I know from personal experience don't stick your fingers between the leads while that thing is going off lol
are you capable of pulling the probes out yourself when it hits you in the stomach?

In theory, you could remove the probes yourself after the electricity flow has stopped, however, in a bad guy situation an officer would likely pull the trigger again if the subject was trying to remove the probes thereby rendering him unable to do anything. I bet he wouldn't touch the probes again after his second "ride."

The current doesn't flow into the other people?

Nope, only between where the two probes hit.
