Bassist Brian Ritchie of The Violent Femmes sued vocalist/guitarist Gordon Gano for using their song"Blister In The Sun" in this commercial.
As a VF fan myself, I'm a little ticked off at Gordon for allowing this.
But then I see posts like the one where someone got into the Femmes after seeing this commercial and I think maybe it is a way to unleash the Femmes unto the masses!
