One of the fastest and most luxurious full four-seater cars in the world, the ESPADA 400GT, with coachwork by BERTONE, is the largest of the LAMBORGHINI range.
A 3929cc, overhead four camshaft V12 engine with 6 twin choke Weber carburetters produces 350 bhp at 7,500 rpm and a top speed of 155 mph.
The all-steel body is a monocoque construction with independent all-round suspension. Ventilated disc brakes by Girling on all four wheels have separate circuits for front and rear.
The sumptuous interior has leather upholstery, electrically-operated tinted windows, heated rear window and full air conditioning.

You miss the point of this car entirely. It doesnt matter how often it breaks down or how expensive it is to do repairs.
Its all about how the car makes you feel. Its like having sex.... if its great who cares how your partner looks or how good she/he cooks.
This car puts a big smile on my face. And all i ever did was sit in one and later watch it drive away.... i would seriously consider giving a kidney for an Espada.

This is a gorgeous car.... but its not a S3. Its a S1. The obvious clues are the dashboard and the side mirror. The S3 had a curved aluminum dash (this has a flat wooden dash), and big ugly plastic side mirrors. This has a more suitable chrome mirror.
One of the more affordable classic italian V12 cars.... for now.

have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old DOHC Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs and tank clean and rustfree

Ha, are you kidding??? These cars are total garbage and require servicing which over time costs more than the car is worth!! My grandfather had one for 18 years and hardly drove it because it always had constant air intake problems, which cost him $12,867 in total. I laugh at how you call this car "Sheer Italian Genius" because all in all, these cars were never popular for a reason.

laber nicht so nen blödsinn der espada ist ein meilenstein in design und motorbaukunst und der monza war ne schlichte proletenkiste minderer qualität habe selber nen 24v senator gefahren was soll der für nen supersound haben das ist ein biderer motor mit 4v kopf sound 0 anfahrdrehmoment scheisse du vergleichst hier einen sportwagen mit einer bideren familienkutsche ala opel rekord oh ne ey wat bist du fürn kranken
