@ciph84 try a star katana. Katanas are known for their understablity and their ability to fight back.

@ciph84 Beasts are nice. If you want something faster check out the new archon. Katanas are good for massive s turning hyzer flips, you can flip it up and it'll come back (if you get a second run with the super flat top it'll be really overstable). be careful though getting too reliant on the hyzer flip, it's great for max D if you get 20 shots, but if you need to go far and only get one chance at it you may be in trouble if it doesn't hook up just right.

@ciph84 dude idk if you've hucked a vulcan yet? i have and i thow very similar to you with slightly less power and less technique. Its a hard disc to get consistant with, but i can hit 400ft with a high turn over shot. You have to release a vulcan at a ridiculous looking hyzer line, like 60 or 70 degrees off horizontal, but trust me it flips over and SAILS. I bet you could use a vulcan and hit near 550-600 with that power.

@ciph84 Yeah, The high hyzer flip is the consensus best max distance throw from every pro I've ever talked to or seen. I use Pro destroyers for that, personally. Pro destroyers seem to have a lot more glide then the star counterpart, I know there are some pros (avery for one) who agree with me. Also a beat up wraith or tee rex works well for me for those throws. I agree with what that other dude was saying, nose down and high. Also, distance is about 50-70% snap, work that if you want more D

@ciph84 You won't be able to throw with as much initial hyzer as seen here due to the height you need. The point is to throw it high while keeping the nose down so that it doesn't stall out and prematurely fade (especially important in a tailwind). I have less power than you, but I can still get a Pro Katana to around 470' using this method. A Pro Katana may be too flippy for you though. Discs that might work: Elite Z Nuke, Pro Wraith, Pro Destroyer (beat), Pro Boss (beat) @ less than 170 g.

@ciph84 I'm not really talking about an anhyzer throw because those limit potential distance due to starting off in a turn. It can either be a flat throw or a hyzer-flip like you're throwing here, but higher and with a more understable disc. What you want is something that won't start it's right turn until it's already traveled a couple hundred feet, then it will turn for 200'-300' and fade during the last hundred.
Nice video im at 400 feet right now its I've only been playing since May. If you see my comment I was wondering what you throw now?

@kingcharelsyoung29 Happy new year, thanks for the comment! I'm not throwing farther now than before. I'm getting older here, not younger lol - Besides, I've been playing for 15+ years so I'm not exactly learning too many new distance-gaining techniques nowadays. Keep practising - you'll be gaining distance in no time!

I can tell you throw with a lot of power. That Eagle must be pretty beat to flip it up like that. I bet you could bomb a faster more understable disc on a high distance line with a lot of turn in it. Catch a tailwind right with a high throw and I bet you could push it out to 550'.

@skurfntx That eagle has been incredibly durable, probably the first run plastic...almost good as new. I like your idea. For me, high anhyzers are about equal to my low hyzer drives that turn over. It seems like my best distance is achieved throwing my Star Boss with a hard hyzer and low (about 15-20 feet high) and turning it over. What would you recommend disc-wise for something fast and understable? Most of my more understable drivers aren't too fast and anything too understable just rolls :-)
