Danville, CA celebrates it 150th Anniversary with an expanded 4th of July Parade. This parade is the largest July 4th holiday parade in Northern California drawing over 40,000 people. Attendees are known to set up their chairs 24 hours before the event to insure a good seat. The town passed a law several years ago making it against the law to leave chairs unintended along the route before 6:30 pm on the preceding evening.

  • is the city (danville) in the bay area??

  • Danville is about 40 miles from SF in the San Ramon Valley, at the foot of Mt. Diablo. Follow the Bay Bridge from SF east to Walnut Creek then go south 6 miles to Danville.
