Kodak Zi8 Supermarket tests

I visited a local supermarket and took these videos at the three settings, 720p 30fps, 720p 60fps, and 1080 30fps. Wao! This Kodak can be used to record an advertisement! The colors were great! Again, I noticed the best setting is 720p 60pfs, followed by 720p at 30fps. The 1080p requires more steady hands, in my opinion.

Yes, the Zi8 shoots 720p 30fps, and 720p 60fps, plus the 1080p. A great small camera!

finally a person who knows how to take video. all the other idiots on here just thrash about holding the camera. the key to filming is to hold the camera for a long time on a specific target. then slowly move to the next spot or just cut to the next spot. thrashing is a no no.

Image quality is great with good light, so is the stabilizer, but the lens at around 60mm in 35-mm format is a really bad thing, imho. Forget about wide angles. Another thing is the 1m min focus distance which sucks as well. Sure, you have macro mode, but that only works at around 15-20cm.. and you have to flip a switch to get it, which means you have to stop recording or you'll have a nasty shake in your video..

Kinda wish I didn't bought it.. :/

this camcorder is great from all the reviews i have seen even in standard definition on youtube the videos look great if you have seen videos on the macro mode feature
