I plan on battling the IG of my friend with my own that he doesn't know of yet. The special issue about this: I want to use the new and current Codex whereas by firend hasn't bought the new one yet. So it will be up to nine tanks on my side (theoretically) against a maximum of three on his side. Should be lots of fun... for me. :D Hey, that's just what happens if you don't keep your army up to date, especially since I told him about the new rules and changes. But I doubt I will be able to finish my army in time before he decides to buy the new Codex. :-/

I talk a bit about the tanks I plan to use and how I will use them. The rest of the video is just for showing all the unassembled models that I bought YEARS ago. -_-

  • 100 imperial guards = 500 points wow awesome so 300 =1500 omg so if you would play an apocalypse with 5k a side and you take only ig its 1000 guardsmen...^^

  • @kevraets Aaaaaarrrrrgggggghhhhhh... >_<

  • Even though this video is old I would reccomend a lighter color for the helmet since it seems to match his uniform.

  • @XxFalloutShelterxX Thanks for the suggestion, but I really want to keep it black. I want all armor, straps, boots & the weapon black and the clothing green.

  • Adding some basing really improves the look of the model over all. Just some sand and static grass and it'll really be that much better.

I think the colour scheme is pretty good, but the grenade could be darker, kind of looks like a lime at the moment :P

  • Hehe... it's just painted with Goblin Green at the moment, might give it a wash with some darker green. As for the base, of course it will receive a regular basing, but as I said in the video, this was just a test figure for the color scheme, that's why I left the base undecorated so far.

    Thanks for the comment.

  • @chiropharma your a douche, shut the fuck up

  • I wonder how you could tell that, from the distance the figure was usually shown / the blurry closeups. ;) I'm certainly not a great painter, I'd say it's regular tabletop standard.

But hey, everybody is entitled to his own opinion.

  • your painting sucks

  • nicee!! <3
