@MrUmpalumpa29 I you were to use regular masking tape, then you wouldn't have the water activated glue adhesive to the inner part of the grip. USE GRIP TAPE!!!

@MrUmpalumpa29 regular masking tape is for painting...It will not work on regripping. You need twosided grip tape..

I am not sure if an over-sized grip made a difference but I almost broke my hands putting my new odyssey grip on my saber-tooth. I am not sure where I went wrong. But I tried to follow your process to a tee.

If you are useing water activated tape You have to use alot of soapy water on some grips. Make sure the little hole in the end is open and dont put your hand over it when regripping. The drying time will be alittle longer. If you are useing solvent , use extra .. thanks for watching ..john
