Magic Knot Bun (Hairstyle video for longer hair)

This is a variation on the Gibson Twist, a style done by manderly. It can start to be done by people with hair about 22 inches long (as measured the LHC way). It's a very simple wrap bun, that can be done quickly and without twisting hair-- it's very secure held with a single stick or fork. I hope this is helpful!

If your hair is significantly longer and thick, you should be able to do it, it will just be a much bigger bun! My hair is much longer now than it was when I made this video (I'm a bit past waist length now, the video was made when my hair was well above mid back), and I can still do this bun perfectly, I just wrap the tail around a few times instead of leaving it sticking out like I did back then. Thick hair requires more length to do buns, but you should be fine!

its the perfect secure bun to do, rock hard, just that it's SO TIGHT on me sometimes, i have to place the stick at least 4-6 inches away from my scalp to get a good stable bun without it pulling on my scalp.
