Opening Light/Video & Special FX Show 1979/80. The biggest and most costly opening light show ever produced at the nightclub! It involved the full opening track with a slightly different ending to the album one.
One of Three Opening Light Show Music Tracks used from 1978 to 1985.
The Opening Light show music used at Romeo & Juliets showcased the entire disco lighting; stage and club's lighting system in a complete 10 minute opening live visual effects spectacular that regularly brought in over 400 punters to the club at 9pm three nights a week just to see this show!
Over 60 pyrotechnics were used; a haze machine which covered the entire club, video projection techniques and a live operated surround sound effects show accompanied the music.
Not this entire music track was used of course it was also mixed with other extended versions of the music, a sort of megamix!
This was one of three Opening Lightshows and you will soon hear; the other two 'The Theme from Alien the movie and 'Disneys The Black Hole'.
