Studio Discussion With Jerry Lee Lewis, Sam Phillips, Billy Lee Riley and James Van Eaton. Cut by Jack Clement in 1957 Before Jerry Lee Recorded Great Balls Of Fire, He First Refused To Record The Song Because he Thought It Was The Devils Music.
I believe Jerry Lee has been in the middle of a tug-of-war between serving God and turning his back on his beliefs most of his adult life. Conflicted. But once God chooses a person, it's a guaranteed fact that that man or woman will be His sooner or later. Personally I think hell raiser or not, Jerry Lee IS God's own. And I'm glad!!!
Amazing piece of legend.
