Growing up in Towner Colorado you learn a lot about the Harvest Combine. Here is a story about the History of the Wheat Harvest and Combines. It has Old Combines, Vintage Combines, Funny Combines, Big Combines, Strange Combines, Weird Combines and about every other thing you wanted learn about The Combine Harvester.

  • The AGCO combines do not have air reels...they are using Shelbourne Reynolds stripper headers

  • I like the description "combine driver". There seems to be a lot of those. Too bad there aren't as many "Combine Operators". I work on combines sometimes and the difference is quite clear.

  • the first lot of cabs were evap cooling wasnt very effective id have the door open

  • at 3:57, those are not air reels, they are stripper heads, and those are not CR 9010s, they are CR 9070s

  • thats funny, "certainly loved the cab, shuttin out the dirt and heat" next combine you see has its door open..
