@dcooper830 muddy are u kidding ? the amp will have the mids and bass cranked to much which is causing a lot of compression in the tone, but the guitar sounds fine to me, he is also a blues player so he has the amp set that way on purpose

I am so please they did not use the N3 pickups on these guitars, I know the CS deluxe strats are different to the cheaper usa deluxe strats, but I ended up selling my deluxe strat cause of them horrible noiseless pickups, sure I could have whacked some fralins in or something, but I don't think spending another £150 on top of £1200 is something I should have to do, fender should give u options on pups on guitar costing £1200, I mean that is a lot of money, some of the MS cost as much as my car

It's not muddy, it's just close mic'ed. Annoyingly a lot of reviewers do this and it doesn't give much of a clue as to how the amp/guitar sounds live.

This guitar sounds very dark and muddy. I would not buy it based on this clip. Did you possibly have the tone controls rolled back? Or did you have the treble down on the amp?
