  • Spoken like somebody who knows nothing about bipolar disorder.

The drugs work. They save lives, and families. They are not perfect; nothing is -- but for people who need them, they are an enormous benefit.

    You are not helping.

  • Very helpful.

  • The Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) is a mental health watchdog, responsible for helping to enact more than 150 laws protecting us from abusive or coercive practices.

CCHR has fought to restore human rights to mental health, including, full informed consent regarding the medical legitimacy of psychiatric diagnosis, risks of psychiatric treatments,

and the RIGHT TO REFUSE TREATMENT. I was a victim of psychiatry for many years, Im not part of this group but agree 1000%

  • omg this is proof sharing is important, I wish I can talk to her I am literally going through the same thing with my family. They don't understand it and haven't taking the time or effort to understand the illness, although my dad is trying a bit now

  • I know someone that is going through trying to get treatment willingly for his bi polar yet all they gave him was an antidepressant and he has Mania and not much if any depression. He is struggling with the med's and wants to get off. Do you know if he can cut the 20 mil in half or since he has been on the 10 for a month and only a couple of weeks on the 20 mil that he can just stop cold turkey. Please let me know if anyone knows abou this. The drug is Lexepro he is now more manic.

  • right at 1:16 she says no no no no..... so funny

  • What do Gay people, Obama, and "so called mentally disordered" have in commmon? They all need attention hmmmmmmmm............Figure that one out

  • lol my cousin is gay and bipolar.

he has worse problems than that though. if those are your only two it's not horrible you can be a GREAT person!

  • The reason there is no blood test is most of the neurotransmitters in the brain don't get out to systemic circulation due to the blood brain barrier. The psychiatric field is kind of stuck diagnostically with questionnaires and observing symptoms.

  • dude, just because its not written on paper or "proven" does not mean that it is compleatly false. we dont know all the answers.

for fucks sakes humans "Knew" the world was flat for hundreds of years.

so saying that these drugs hav ABSOLOUTLY NO benifit is not helpful.

it is possiable that the test that could identify if the drugs work has no been made yet.

so stop being such a snobby ass and be fuckn constructive and offer some HELPFUL advice to help the people who have come here to get help.

  • Know what sucks doubly? Being gay and Bipolar. Yeah, I'm lonely.
