  • Comic sans = never a good idea

  • Noisy trade show floor + jittery cellphone video = annoying.

  • Seems like it would have been a lot easier to just have no chain on the second crank. Problem solved, the other rider rides at whatever rpm they want. Looks like way too much drag and I don't think the planetary gear solves the problem anymore than no chain would, just spinning at whatever rpm but not contributing power. Or I'm wrong.

  • these guys put a lot of work into a failed concept.

Pro-E is only helpful to get the design right. Before they plunged into that, they needed to get the concept. What problem are they trying to solve? One rider wants to pedal at a different rate than the other? This isn't a problem since peak efficiency occurs at about the same RPM for every rider, and if one rider is tired, (s)he can "spin" without exerting. No tandem buyers are going to purchase a bike that weighs this much and costs more.

  • Why not differentiate the two inputs?

  • why do you need 3 gear hubs

    cant you combine them

  • Very clever. Do you have any other demonstrations of this bike?
