Two minor characters from Hamlet get a story told from their point of view. This movie is hilarious. Some people get it, some don't, but personally i'd say it's definitely worth your while. *especially* if you're a slash fan. maybe that's what's wrong with the people who don't get it... their loss 8P

  • You're meant to be confused as to who is who. Only from the credits do we know that Gary Oldman is Rosencrantz and Tim Roth is Guildenstern. But Ro and Guil themselves never figure out which is which. Frankly, I wish the credits said:

    Gary Oldman - Rosencrantz (or Guildenstern)

    Tim Roth - Guildenstern (or Rosencrantz)

    It would have fit the movie better.

  • lol wow XD yes, that would have been hilarious

  • LOL at 6:48. xD

  • Hamlet, you are talking to a chicken...;

  • @SinisterTomato wait, what? no. for those who have read stoppard's play, it's clear that oldman is rosencrantz and roth is guildenstern. there's the theme of mistaken/interchangeable identities (made mostly by ros and other characters - guil knows who's who for the most part), but he separates the two from the very start by a distinguishing character trait (r cares about "feelings", g sees all absurdity and panics at its implications). pretty sure all of oldman's lines are rosencrantz's.

  • To add to all this discussion of who's who- I feel like it's also interesting to point out that Oldman's lines are all Guildenstern's in the actual stageplay.

  • in the opening credits they put gary oldman's name before tim roth to distinguish who is who. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Gary oldman and Tim Roth

  • I love how Rosencrantz (Guildenstern? the guy with the long hair) comes up with all these scientific things, yet he still looks like an idiot. XD

  • 2:41-2:46 NOT NOW! *echo and everyone looks around* 4:38-4:44 DELVE! *echo and a woman opens the window and looks around*

    I love the echo parts.

  • @abiean222 Oh My God! Too True!

  • 3:58. His expression.
