@ptitdsf Well, Vampires Suck, Disaster Movie, and Epic Movie were parodies, and everyone tears them apart. Because, you know, they were apparently bad movies.

I haven't seen this, but even as a parody, this doesn't seem that good.

Old Parody Movies are like Last Action Hero and Airplane.

Modern Parody Movies have some ties to the writers/directors/actors connected to the Scary Movie series....

I'll stick with LAH and Airplane.

The only review where I ever completely disagreed with NC on, I love this movie. So many scenes are gold, especially the ones involving Benedict. Of course probably my favorite is when Benedict kills someone in the real world and starts screaming that "I just SHOT somebody and I did it on PURPOSE", only for people to scream at him to shut up.

hey critic, you screwed up big time. LAH didn't tank at the box office, it grossed over 135 million from a budget of 85 mill. plus, it's a parody, meant to make fun of all the cliches in action movies. i don't get why critics panned this film when Scream did the same thing to horror films pointing out the cliches, but that movie was praised by critics for doing the same thing

@stebsis well you should watch it! it's fun, entertainning and with nice action scenes. quite the opposite of what he says. i usually agree with critic and very often the movies he reviews are bad ones, but this one is really enjoyable.

@ptitdsf If a movie is a parody, ite doesn't mean it has to be a bad movie. There are good parody movies, but this just doesn't seem like one.
