"This is an enormous moral blot on the character of a nation..."

Yet our own Seventh-day Adventist church not only allows abortion, but our hospitals perform it. Is it not a greater moral blot on the character of this church that claims to be God's remnant church?

@proverbs1824 Maybe u should dig deeper in what my church TRULY believes :) because you dont know obviously or you would not be preaching to the choir as I said earlier.

I know for a fact & my church teaches that NO ONE can be saved by works...can I be any plainer? but what you dont get is that grace does NOT in any way negate or do away with the law or any part of it...they are STILL the 10 COMMANDMENTS, not suggestions.

if grace did away with obedience there would be no sin since the cross.

@rusda2 when we follow Jesus (and put our faith and total trust in Him) His righteousness is imputed to us..........though we still aren't perfect. So, in God's eyes we are righteous....not because of anything we do or don't do, but because of what Jesus did for us. I've researced not only the SDA, but Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses, Roman Catholicism, etc. Maybe you should dig deeper into what your church truly believes! Our TOTAL savlvation is dependant on what Jesus did, not US!

@proverbs1824 ur preaching to the choir, SDA's believe Jesus is Creator God of the universe. thats official SDA teaching. u know, the least u could do is if u want to disagree with us, at least quit lying about what we believe (since u obviously dont know) & pick something that u do know & disagree on that. but at least be careful not to spread lies like u are doing now.

Jesus also fulfilled all righteousness...did that do away will all righteousness too?

@proverbs1824 u just said u dont disregard the law, then in same breath u say u dont have to keep it (Sabbath)...thats the most inconsistent belief I have ever seen...but thats antinomians for u. is it ok to willfully commit adultery too? like ur willfully breaking the Sabbath? it's one of the ten, what makes the 4th different from the 7th? why's it ok to break one of the ten, but not others of the ten? u cant fulfil the spirit of the law while u break the letter. it's impossible.

u people who call us a cult for believing Archangel is a TITLE for Christ, always say "Jesus is NOT a created being, He can't be an Archangel". trouble is u cannot show one single scripture that says Arch angel is a created being. plus u dont seem to have a problem with His other TITLES that are CREATED beings such as LION/LAMB. hypocrisy?

@proverbs1824 Salvation in Christ alone does not negate the command of God to keep His law. You are teaching antinomianism and that is a false teaching. there is no place in the entire bible that teaches us that when we accept christ we are no freed from the obligation to keep His law. thats ridiculous.

@rusda2 I stand my ground! Michael, another name for Jesus? Prove it! "Other" churches don't disregard the law, we just recognize that we are NOT saved by the law (including whether one goes to church on Saturday or Sunday). Jesus fulfilled ALL the law (moral and ceremonial), thereby we fulfill the law by following Christ. We are SAVED by GRACE through FAITH in CHRIST, and CHRIST ALONE!! And, Christ is God who was, who is, and ever shall be!

3. @proverbs1824 the official teaching of the SDA church is that we are saved by grace thru faith, not of works (law) lest any man shall boast.

it's very simple. does an apple tree produce apples in order to BE an apple tree? or BECAUSE IT IS an apple tree? SDA's keep His law because we ARE Christians & LOVE God, not in order to BE Christians. Any SDA who says we keep the law to be saved is confused or worse.

then there are others whom u seem to agree with teaching we should NOT keep God's law
