Try the High Quality, it's better!
This is a new material about the Making of 'Yamahata's Metamorphosis", AKA 'Yamahata No Henshin' (the original title) or 'La Metamorfosis de Yamahata' (mexican title).
'Yamahata's Metamorphosis', which is a tribute to 'Tetsuo' film (1989), directed by Shinya Tsukamoto, also was presented as a promotional spot for Macabre Film Festival in Mexico City.
Last year (2008), several people were added to the well-known spot-short film for the Macabre Film Festival, the Nauatlachiloyan Company ('Mujeres Asesinas', TV Series), were in charge of Edition, Color Correction, Sound Design and all Post-Production.
We got the participation of Rodrigo Brieque ('Oniris', Short Film), as the composer of original music score, based on the electronic style of Chu Ishikawa, composer of Tetsuo's soundtrack.
The cast, Takahiro Murokawa ('Los Simuladores', TV Series, and 'La Caja de Yamazaki', Short Film) as Yamahata, and Rima Numazaki ('Backyard', Film) as Eriko, both japanese actors living in Mexico City.
And people who participate again contributing with their talent, such as Alfredo Garcia ('Apocalypto', 'Morirse en Domingo', both films) of Zombie Studios, this is his first short film as director, and again as creator of special effects and makeup artist. Also Alesso Martinez ('Ley Fuga', Film) as Cinematographer with his charismatic sense of humor, same like Estrella Lorrabaquio ('Resident Evil: Extinction', Film) showing her skills on hair stylist and refreshing makeup; Alberto Alvarado with his incredible patience and effort (without him, all of us would starved).
Sergio Nequiz (Sound Recordist), always with funny comments during filming days. Ana del Rayo (Costume), although she wasn't present on calling, she delivered the costume in time. Diego Decont (Art Department) pasting, writing in japanese (Taka taught him a few words) and soiling like a child everything on the road.
Specially, I want to thanks Claudia Zedillo and Pavel Lara (Location Managers) for the excellent job to find the right place. Without that, it would've been quite difficult to obtain the "Tetsuo's-atmosphere".
Also I want to thanks Karina Espinosa, Abizail Martinez, Cristian Perez and Stephanie Alton, Alfredo's assistants, because of their great ability and effort shown during this short film.
And last, but not less important, thanks for the support to Omar Acevedo and Felipe Laguna (Servi Partes Diesel de Zumpango) for the granted facilities to film on their locations and the handling of heavy machines.
As you can see, 'Thriller' was part of the inspiration, although 'Tetsuo' shows no zombies, but the makeup of 'Thriller' will always be an inspiration for us, it's like to be children again and create some fun stuff.

Se nota la camaradería. Sin una coordinación amigable es impensable obtener buenos resultados. Aplausos a todos los involucrados. A mi me encantaría andar aunque sea de metiche o jalando cables.
Saludos.

Muchas gracias!!
Saludos!!
