On July 18, 2005 in the Tokyo Dome, Kenta Kobashi faced Kensuki Sasaki for the GHC Heavyweight Championship. Both men, notorious for their heavy-handed strikes, would engage in one of, if not the longest back-and-forth exchange of open hand chops in Puro history.
The chops are exchanged for 4 minutes and 19 seconds. There are187 chops between the two. 106 Hits for Kobashi, and 81 for Sasaki.
