I don't give a shit! This is a bad ass album to the core! I remember being home one night, dropped some acid, and my house came alive! This freaking album rolled me up, ate me, and shit me out! METALLICA RULES

@SLAYERMETALLICA357 Ironically, most all rock song derive from a blues chord progression... and blues is the father of rock and roll, which is the father of metal.

As far as the people who bitch about Metallica changing their sound go, I have a few questions for you to think about:
Maybe they're not narrow-minded musicians that only listen to 1 genre? As a band, members have different tastes, influences, & ideas about music, so don't you think for them to collaborate well they will try to experiment with new sounds (albeit maybe to appease a certain member)? If you were an artist would you do the exact same thing for the rest of your life? Probably not lol

@madmaia That being said I do like 90s Metallica more.

@madmaia Thrash didn't and never has paid. Changing your sound to be mainstream is something to be upset about.

Fan Since 84....Seen them 13 times..this song is #5 on my list

Metallica didn't sell out- They would have to have not already been famous and incredibly successful to sell out. Since they were already ridiculously fucking successful, it's a stupid thing to say. Load is a great album.

BEST DRUMS EVER!!!!!!!
I am so addicted to Lars's drums in this song that I might have to check in to rehab!

Such an underrated song an album... Everybody got butt-hurt when Metallica wanted to explore their musical talents and experiment.

DAMN RIGHT...LOAD is a great album.If they can't hear that then don't listen to it
@undertow1985 Me too
I love it so much. I love the way they made bluesy sounding Metal, This whole album is awesome. People can say they "Sold out" but it's pretty hard to sell out on a genre (Blues Metal) that no body listens too. Metallica was just experimenting and people say they sold out. It's not their fault their experiment was a hit.
But people will find anyway the hate Metallica, Even if it means calling them sell outs for trying something new out.

I was 12 when Load came out...so this was the Metallica that I originally started listening to...I can understand why older fans weren't keen on picking up their new "style" but IMO it's just as good as the rest, bands progress, grow, change through experience...& if it sounded like previous albums, you'd be complaining that it all "sounds the same," learn to appreciate variety & musicians experimenting with their talents...don't be so closed minded.
