【EVOLTA：チャレンジ第2弾】ル・マン24時間耐久走行 挑戦成功！

2009年8月5日（水）、午前10:00、たった2本の乾電池を動力に長もち実証ロボット「エボルタ」がル・マン24時間に挑戦しました。開始後1時間で車両にトラブル­が発生し、午前11:15に再スタートさせるというハプニングがありましたが、見事に24時間走りきりました。24時間で23.726kmを走行し、「乾電池を動力にし、­遠隔操作された車両型ロボットの最長走行距離 (The longest distance covered by a battery-operated remote-controlledmodel car) 」として、ギネス世界記録にも認定。乾電池EVOLTAの長もちパワーを実証することに成功しました！

At 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 5, 2009, the Evolta Robot, powered by just two Evolta batteries, took on the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. It experienced some car trouble an hour into the race and had to restart at 11:15 a.m. Despite this obstacle, it kept running for 24 hours, completing 23.726 km and receiving certification by the Guinness Book of World Records for "the longest distance covered by a battery-operated remote-controlled model car," proving the long-lasting power of Evolta batteries!
