Pitfall Harry, is that you?

No, this seemed ot be an insult to the Pitfall series. There is no famed Quicksand or scorpions. There isn't even any vines in this tripe.

Pitfall Harry is a Safari Explorer, why does he look like Mario in a blue miner's helmet and coveralls?

In Super Pitfall, you are to rescue Rhonda and Quickclaw. ALso, pit up some rubies and junk.

The music is greatly annoying, even for the SNES. Harry also uses a gun, which made a big contriversal issue back in the day.

  • He squats like mario also.

  • He jumps and walks like Mario even!

  • Plus.. the game seemed to have nothing to do with Pitfall.. dispite the name.

  • Wow... a clone of Mario with light blue clothes, a hard hat, and a gun? Music that loops after 10 seconds? Poorly drawn waterfalls that just disappear for no reason? What more could you ask for?

  • @penguinmaster7 Unless it's a poison dart frog and the part touching them is an open wound, nothing I can think of.

  • mario much ?

  • SNES?

You're about as dumb as the Irate Gamer.

Super Pitfall was on the NES.

  • I have an explanation for why he goes ape shit every time he dies. There's a devil and an angel that are waiting for him to die, and as soon as he does, they're start fighting over his body to see whether he'll go to heaven or hell. So I guess that's what purgatory is.

  • who the fuck dies from touching a frog!?!?!?!? this game is pure ass!

  • Why does Pitfall Harry look like Mario when he stand's still?

  • Horrible game. Bad programming, bad sound, bad graphics, bad play control, bad everything. How did this get the "Nintendo Seal of Approval"?

  • After playing this game, I was so sad to see that there were no true sequel that did Pitfall II justice. So I took it to my own hands and am creating "Cliffall" just type it on the search box to find a brief overview of the game. Cliffall is my way of saying: This is how Pitfall should have continued. It is still a game in development. Many great things will yet come to it. So far it feels great.

  • Compared to this? Yeah, I can agree...
