Great sound - I was surprised that the engineer notched up so quickly, yet this is, no doubt, quite normal for these machines.

Yes, it's a bit like it. They are really thrashings those GM's - the more the opened up the slower the train went - like the brakes were partly sticking on.

Yes they seem to be quite tuff for such small locomotives. They only pull this train for about 1.7km to the electrified lines where usually 3-4 18E's take over.
